Job summary

QuidelOrtho in Rochester, NY, Carlsbad, CA or Pompano Beach, FL, seeks a Senior Global Procurement Lead to oversee supplier strategy and procurement for packaging and finished goods. You will lead cost, quality, delivery and governance while driving value across the organization.

The role demands 8–10 years of medical device procurement leadership, ISO/FDA experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve supplier performance. Travel up to 5% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business discipline or related field; professional qualification.
• Experienced in ISO standards and FDA regulated environment
• 8 to 10 years Technical / Procurement Management experience in medical device/reg environment
• Proven track record of managing employees and building high-performance supply organization
• Previous experience in packaging commodity procurement, an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI
• 5% travel (domestic and international)
• This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier selection and lead complex negotiations, focusing on supplier quality, total cost and performance while minimizing risk exposure.
• Develop Global Commodity Strategy and Asset Lifecycle Total Cost Management strategies.
• Execute strategic sourcing and relationship management strategies for supply partners that enable new product development and drive supplier performance including scorecards and governance.
• Develop/foster supplier partnerships across the company and communicate consequences to leadership to mitigate challenges.
• Partner with Supply Chain, R&D, Product Management and Finance to drive process, quality, and compliance improvements to achieve optimal value, pricing and service performance.
• Facilitate supplier change notices or material obsolescence with business partner teams.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
