Merck & Co. invites you to join the Future Talent Program as a Co-op in our Global Support Division. The six-month program offers hands-on projects across supplier management, market intelligence and data analytics to develop core business and procurement skills.

The role focuses on pre-negotiation planning, RFIs/RFPs, cost modeling, and risk assessments, with opportunities to contribute to digitization efforts and reporting. A hybrid work arrangement is provided.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree or MBA.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Enterprise social tools (Yammer).
• Proven ability to analyze data and present insights clearly.
• Excellent project management and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Support procurement objectives, including sourcing, risk management, cost reduction and supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, P2P and external suppliers to meet objectives.
• Conduct market analyses to provide actionable insights and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in RFIs, RFPs, e-Auctions and cost modeling activities.
• Maintain financial reporting and data accuracy within SAP or similar systems.
• Assist in governance, risk assessment and compliance activities.
