Job summary

Kosmos Corp in Chicago is a Growing Manufacturing company seeking a Procurement Manager to develop and deliver a 3-5-year Global Category Strategy aligned to business and regional needs. You will lead global sourcing initiatives including RFX processes, negotiations and contract management.

You will drive value through total cost of ownership, risk mitigation and supplier consolidation; establish and lead effective SRM frameworks; provide market intelligence to inform sourcing and investment

Qualifications

• 4+ years in global or regional category management with proven procurement strategy execution.
• Commercial acumen with stakeholder, negotiation and leadership skills in a global matrix.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or related field.
• CIPS or postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, SRM and contract management.
• Strong analytical, influencing and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• 4+ Years experience in global or regional category management, with a strong track record of developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder, negotiation and leadership skills, and be comfortable operating in a global, matrix organization.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) or postgraduate qualification (desirable).
• Deep experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract management.
• Strong analytical, influencing and communication skills.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insight into tangible business outcomes.
