Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a Westinghouse subsidiary, seeks a Contract Buyer to support our global team from the New Stanton, PA site in a hybrid role. You will participate in procure-to-pay, manage purchase orders and requisitions, and help drive cost savings while meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; 3 years in corporate environments (supply chain, nuclear or technical) preferred; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support teams to promote a culture where high quality and teamwork are the norm.
• Purchase goods, materials and components following specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Manage the procure-to-pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensuring payment.
• Process Purchase Requisitions, RFQ, and create Purchase Orders.
• Monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers.
• Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices.
• Improve cost savings and reductions.
• Collaborate with internal customers, suppliers and company partners.
• Report achievements daily, weekly and monthly.
• Identify and implement improvements with focus on continuous improvement.

About the role:

Contract Buyer opportunity. You will take an active part in supporting our team working globally to achieve a net zero emissions environment. You will report to the Supply Chain Operations Team Lead and work in our Westinghouse New Stanton, PA site. This is a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support our teams to promote a culture where a high quality and teamwork is the norm
