Job summary

Avetix TIC is seeking a Head of Global Record-to-Report, Business Services to lead the R2R function on a fully remote basis within the United States. You will own R2R performance worldwide, including close, reconciliations, controls, and the transactional aspects of tax, treasury, and FP&A.

Title: Head of Global Record-to-Report, Business Services (Remote, US)

A global healthcare leader is hiring someone to run its Record-to-Report operation. Confidential search.

The role

You own R2R performance worldwide. Close, reconciliations, controls, and the transactional side of tax, treasury and FP&A all sit with you.

The model is outsourced. A BPO partner does the work, and you make sure it’s done properly. You hold the provider to its commitments, and you answer to the business when it isn’t.

You report to the VP of Global Business Services. You’ll work directly with CFOs, controllers and BU finance leaders. They shouldn’t have to chase you. If something breaks, you’ve already found it and are fixing it.

What you’ll do

• Run the service relationship with senior finance leaders. Turn what the business needs into delivery commitments you can be held to.
• Take ownership when close, reconciliations or controls go wrong. Find the cause, fix it and report back.
• Manage the BPO partner end to end: SLAs, performance reviews and commercial terms.
• Run the daily and weekly rhythm: close calendar, reconciliation volumes, capacity, backlog.
• Track the numbers that matter: close timeliness, reconciliation accuracy, journal entry errors, control deficiencies.
• Forecast demand and plan vendor capacity to match.
• Keep controls and audit documentation tight.
• Build the improvement pipeline. Work with Process Excellence and Digital teams to deliver automation, simplification and AI-enabled workflows that cut effort year on year.

What you bring

• 12+ years in process operations or service delivery leadership, including 7+ years managing people.
• Deep R2R knowledge: close, GL reconciliations, allocations, FX revaluation, fixed assets, intercompany, controls.
• Hands‑on experience running outsourced or hybrid delivery with SLAs you’ve enforced.
• A record of earning the trust of CFOs and senior finance leaders.
• Proven productivity gains and automation delivered inside a shared services or GBS setting.
• Strong root cause and escalation discipline.
• Confidence leading virtual teams across regions.
• Sharp communication. You can negotiate, influence and handle conflict.
• A bachelor’s degree. A master’s is a plus.
