Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Global Process Engineer to drive capacity and CapEx strategy across Aero Alliance manufacturing sites in the US. The role emphasizes data analysis, standardization, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce costs and improve process performance.

Responsibilities include developing global capacity models, leading Lean initiatives, and guiding asset transfers and new process introductions while coaching a dotted-line team of factory engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
• 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
• 7+ years of experience in factory operations roles focused on SQDC, capacity, and capex with lean experience
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
• Project Management skills and experience

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategy for capacity & CapEx aligned with long-term customer demand and business objectives
• Develop robust processes for CapEx prioritization aligned with SQDC & business objectives
• Maintain global capacity models for Aero Alliance shops using Takt Cycle charts
• Coach teams to improve output using lean tools and principles of waste elimination
• Ensure CapEx aligns with a 1P1P approach of global standardization
• Collaborate with teams to build out takt cycle charts and capacity models for all Aero Alliance shops
• Lead investigations into failures and implement robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Provide technical support & train local shops for CapEx, Capacity, and developing flow lines
