Job summary

Google accountants are a savvy team handling core accounting responsibilities globally. You will guide financial reporting, review and interpret reports, and advise on government-required reports.

You’ll lead end-to-end accounting processes and work with a global team to boost efficiency while upholding accuracy and detail. As part of the Acquire to Retire (A2R) group, you’ll manage CapEx, PP&E, and related month-end close duties, collaborating with multiple departments to align with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent practical experience.
• CPA or CA certification.
• 4 years of accounting experience or 1 year with advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
• Experience with US GAAP in public or multinational setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global tracking and accounting for projects using SAP Project Systems subledger.
• Execute month-end close activities and present findings to finance leadership and auditors.
• Maintain SOX internal controls and escalate issues promptly.
• Collaborate with operations, tax, product, legal, and IT teams on new accounting flows.
• Drive continuous improvement in A2R operations and automation.
