Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Commodity Manager for Power Accessories and Third-Party Buy to lead a global sourcing strategy.

You will manage external manufacturers (ODMs/OEMs), drive cost-out initiatives, and ensure on-time delivery in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams from Plano, TX. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in strategic sourcing with strong negotiation skills, deep experience with power electronics and batteries, and proficiency in SAP ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; engineering background preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience negotiating complex supplier contracts and terms.
• Experience sourcing power electronics, battery technologies, or ODMs/OEMs.
• Proficient in SAP ERP, especially material master and purchasing modules.
• Strong execution leadership with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year lifecycle sourcing strategies for third-party power accessories.
• Evaluate and manage external manufacturers (ODMs/OEMs) through QBRs with QA and Materials teams.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to align supplier offerings with roadmap tech.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate MSAs, and manage matrix pricing for profitability.
• Build should-cost models to drive cost-out, reduce lead times, and optimize terms.
• Track market drivers, forecast material trends, and secure supplier capacity allocations.
• Resolve supplier exceptions and streamline SAP data integrity and accounts payable disputes.
• Collaborate with Global Commodity counterparts to consolidate the supply base.
