Job summary

KLA is seeking a Senior Global Government Affairs Leader to drive the company’s public policy strategy across multiple jurisdictions. You will influence regulatory outcomes, coordinate with legal, compliance, and leadership teams, and help shape growth directions.

The role focuses on export controls, geopolitical risk, and strategic intelligence, reporting to executive leadership and partnering across regions to advance corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree preferred in Public Policy, IR, Political Science, Law, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, trade policy, or regulatory affairs.
• Significant experience in semiconductor, technology, electronics, defense, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
• Expertise in export controls, sanctions, international trade policy, and national security regulations.
• Experience engaging with senior government officials in multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global government affairs strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulators, and industry coalitions worldwide.
• Represent the company before legislative and executive branch officials on semiconductor policy issues.
• Provide strategic counsel to executives on policy, geopolitical, and regulatory developments.
• Lead advocacy on export controls, sanctions, and national security-related regulations.
• Partner with legal, compliance, and business leaders to navigate regulatory changes and risks.
• Analyze geopolitical developments affecting markets and supply chains; provide leadership with actionable intelligence.
• Lead a high-performing global government affairs organization and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
