Job summary

KLA is seeking a strategic leader to manage global government affairs, guiding regulatory and policy decisions that affect the semiconductor ecosystem. You will partner with executives, legal, and regional leaders to shape advocacy across jurisdictions and mitigate risk.

This role requires deep expertise in export controls, national security policy, and geopolitical risk, with the ability to translate complex developments into actionable business guidance for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, Economics, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Significant experience in government affairs, public policy, trade policy, or regulatory affairs.
• Experience engaging with senior government officials across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global government affairs strategy aligned with objectives.
• Build relationships with government officials, regulators, and industry coalitions worldwide.
• Represent the company before legislative and executive branch officials on semiconductor policy issues.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on policy, geopolitical, and regulatory developments.
• Lead export controls, sanctions, and national security policy engagement and strategy.
• Stakeholder management with legal, compliance, and business leaders to navigate regulatory changes.
• Analyze geopolitical developments affecting markets and supply chains; provide actionable guidance.
