Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Manager, Product Management – Control Electronics to lead a global PM team and drive strategy, lifecycle, and P&L across electronics platforms. This role requires cross-regional alignment within a matrix organization and close collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Market Managers.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, 10+ years in product management for drives/controls/HVAC, and proven P&L ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related technical field.
• 10+ years in Product Management with drives, controls and HVAC.
• Experience leading Product Managers or cross-functional teams.
• Track record of owning P&L and profitable product growth.
• Deep PLM and NPD understanding; strong engineering collaboration.
• Travel about 20% or more if remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a global Product Management team.
• Translate market strategies into actionable product roadmaps.
• Own portfolio growth, profitability, pricing, and investments.
• Drive product roadmaps aligned to business and customer needs.
• Oversee full lifecycle from concept to obsolescence.
• Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Market Managers.
• Review business cases and investments for strong returns.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering≥ business or related technical field

10+ years experience in Product Management (drives, controls, HVAC)

Proven experience overseeing Product Managers or cross-functional teams

Strong P&L ownership and portfolio profitability

Lifecycle management (PLM) and NPD

Strong technical acumen; engage with engineering teams

Travel ~20% (higher if remote)
