Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 1 year of procurement experience.
• Fundamental understanding of the procurement lifecycle and external market factors.
• Experience in executing and tracking purchase orders for polymers and related commodities.
• Proficiency with SAP, Basecamp, and RFI/RFQ workflows.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing: qualify suppliers, analyze cost breakdowns, develop scorecards, and prepare approval presentations with oversight.
• Systems & Process: use SAP/Basecamp to place RFIs, RFQs, and purchase orders.
• Technical Understanding: support supplier prospecting and understand sourcing process and market.
• Negotiations: assist with data-driven negotiation preparation under supervision and know standard terms.
• Supplier Management: extract cost data, maintain supplier communications for NDAs, POs and contracts.
• Stakeholder Management: collaborate with cross-functional teams and understand basic technical requirements and tradeoffs.
• Project Management & Risk Mitigation: support project KPIs and report risks clearly.
