Hunter Douglas, Inc. is seeking a Category Procurement Manager - Plastic to lead global strategy for plastic materials, align with R&D, quality, and operations, and deliver year-over-year productivity.

You will own end-to-end sourcing events, negotiate terms to reduce costs, manage supplier relationships, and monitor KPIs using data-driven insights to support growth across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive sourcing or supply chain experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/operations environment.
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Experience with wood/plastics/finished goods/manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of SAP/ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; data-driven.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and driving action from limited information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category strategies for Plastic.
• Lead end-to-end competitive sourcing events.
• Negotiate terms and achieve cost reductions.
• Manage supplier relationships and reviews.
• Analyze spend and market intelligence for opportunities.
• Establish and monitor supplier KPIs.
• Advise stakeholders with procurement guidance.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, PMO, and Plant Operations.
