Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking a Director - Executive Director, PK/PD & Pharmacometrics to provide scientific leadership across early and late-stage development, guiding model-informed decisions for target selection, dose, and populations.

You will lead phase I–III study design, interact with regulators, mentor scientists, and represent the group to strengthen external visibility; a PhD and 8+ years in PK/PD or clinical pharmacology are required; hybrid work in the US/UK landscape.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline with at least 8 years in PK/PD or Clinical Pharmacology.
• Experience with pharmacometrics, DMPK, regulatory submissions.
• Strong communication of quantitative concepts to non-quant audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide PK/PD and quantitative clinical pharmacology leadership to project teams.
• Lead exploratory MIDD analyses across development stages.
• Drive data-driven decision making and solve high-level drug development challenges.
• Lead and integrate PK/PD in program and product team plans.
• Lead preparation of study protocols, analysis plans, and reports.
• Prepare regulatory documents (INDs, IBs, CTDs) and interact with agencies.
• Communicate quantitative data clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Mentor scientists and engage with academia and external bodies.
• Represent the group to increase external visibility through publications and leadership.
