Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a Global Payroll Associate, Assistant Vice President to support the Corporate Finance team in managing payroll processes across multiple countries, including the US and beyond.

You will reconcile changes, review timesheets, handle garnishments, maintain relationships with payroll partners, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role offers exposure to global payroll operations and process improvements, with a focus on accuracy, issues resolution, and employee education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • CPP designation strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Dayforce is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-state payroll; global experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and automated payroll systems.

  • Assist with global payroll across multiple countries including the US, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Portugal, Switzerland, and Japan.
  • Reconcile changes affecting pay such as salary adjustments, location changes, leaves, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Review and finalize timesheets for US non-exempt employees.
  • Manage pay inputs like garnishments and deduction corrections.
  • Maintain relationships with payroll service partners and handle correspondence and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with reconciling and approving payrolls in partnership with Corporate Finance.
  • Manage state employment tax requirements and global compliance filings.
  • Coordinate data for audit responses and compliance reporting.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for payroll-related issues and educate employees.
  • Gain experience with new software and improve key processes.
