Qualifications

• 5+ years of patent prosecution support experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities; technology and energy portfolio experience and electronic billing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor domestic and international patent dockets, ensuring timely compliance with all deadlines.
• Prepare and file patent applications, amendments, responses, and related USPTO documentation.
• Coordinate patent prosecution activities with attorneys, foreign associates, and outside vendors.
• Maintain patent portfolios, track prior art references, and manage disclosure statements.
• Review patent documentation, monitor application statuses, and resolve filing discrepancies.
• Process IP-related invoices, assist with client billing, and maintain accurate financial records.
