Job summary

Fish & Richardson is seeking a Patent Paralegal (Foreign Prosecution) for the Practice Systems Department. You will prepare and file documents across all phases of patent prosecution, manage a prosecution docket, and track daily hours to meet a 1300-hour annual goal.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or ABA-recognized paralegal certificate with 5+ years of foreign prosecution experience. U.S. experience is a plus and you must work well in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or ABA-recognized paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience in legal support.
• 5+ years experience as a Patent Paralegal with foreign prosecution knowledge.
• Foreign prosecution experience is required; U.S. experience is a plus.
• Ability to meet the firm’s billing requirement of 1300 hours per year.
• Willingness to assist other team members and work well in a team environment.
• Preparation and filing of information disclosure statements and formal documents experience.

• Accurately prepare, obtain, and file documents related to all phases of patent prosecution.
• Maintain and manage a prosecution docket and follow up on due dates and deadlines.
• Enter time into the firm’s timekeeping system to meet the billable goal.
