Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a Global Product Steward scientist to collaborate across Lilly and external manufacturing organizations. This individual contributor role drives the drug product technical agenda, supporting pipeline products from development into manufacturing.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design, transfer manufacturing processes, and influence global sites to optimize product and process productivity while delivering life-changing medicines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in biomolecule characterization and GMP manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical data and troubleshoot issues.
• Demonstrated leadership, influence, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical stewardship of parenteral drug products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product commercialization and tech transfers.
• Coordinate with process engineers to design and transfer robust manufacturing processes.
• Leverage scientific community to impact Lilly’s ability to commercialize medicines.
• Apply data-driven decision-making with cross-functional/external information.
• Define the vision and drive advancements of technical capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for molecule/product and process improvements.
• Drive critical issues to resolution with speed and decisiveness.
• Champion changes to improve business objectives.
• Coach and mentor junior associates.
