We are seeking a leader with packaging procurement experience to strategically source packaging products for North America Customer Fulfillment Procurement. The person in this role will coordinate with several teams across Amazon and will interact with our most important suppliers to satisfy organizational requirements, develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver savings and improve productivity across the category. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, and a creative, critical thinker with motivation to learn. You must be an effective communicator and be able to work independently and as a leader of peers to generate high-quality work product in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment. • Earn the trust of key stakeholders to drive alignment with the business
• Create a category strategy in conjunction with internal customers to ensure there is a comprehensive, unified approach for the category.
• Achieve yearly cost saving or value targets appropriate to the category aligned with annual budget processes.
• Define and report on key metrics that measure effectiveness of supply and cost savings
• Champion standards and process improvements

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• 2+ years of supply chain experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
• 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
