Job summary

Qnity Electronics, Inc. in Marlborough, MA seeks a Global Packaging Engineer - Lithography to lead packaging initiatives across our manufacturing network and serve as the Packaging Engineering lead for the Marlborough site.

The role focuses on developing, qualifying, implementing, and improving packaging systems for product protection, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency, including bottles, drums, IBCs, PE bags, and corrugated packaging.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of packaging engineering experience in chemical, semiconductor, or related manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing and implementing industrial packaging systems.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials packaging and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Global Packaging Engineering SME supporting Marlborough, Japan, Korea and future locations.
• Develop and maintain packaging standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Lead design, qualification, and implementation of industrial packaging systems including bottles, drums, IBCs, pallets.
• Support new product introductions, transfers, packaging changes, and capacity expansion.
• Ensure packaging systems meet product protection, chemical compatibility, safety, and cost targets.
• Lead regulatory compliance activities for packaging including hazardous materials.
• Partner with Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing to deliver robust solutions.
• Qualify suppliers, support audits, and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement in packaging performance.
