Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Principal Design Program Manager for International Packaging and Industrial Design to define the philosophy, frameworks, and standards that future DPMs will build on. You’ll shape how design, marketing, supply chain, and operations work together at a systems level across three global markets.

We’re building a design operations function where process is a creative act and scalable systems enable great design.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in design program management or creative operations in healthcare, consumer goods, or regulated packaging.
• Proven track record building processes from scratch and creating infrastructure for scalable operations.
• Experience designing prioritization frameworks that are actually adopted by stakeholders.
• Broad packaging program expertise from kickoff to press check and risk management.
• Demonstrated organizational influence beyond individual programs.
• Cross-disciplinary fluency across industrial design, packaging, and CMF.

Responsibilities

• Define global design operations standards, frameworks, and decision models for packaging.
• Lead as internal authority on global packaging program management across design, legal, and supply chain.
• Develop onboarding standards and craft development for the DPM function as it grows.
• Architect end-to-end packaging programs across regions with timeline integrity and risk visibility.
• Build capacity dashboards and structured tradeoff conversations for leadership alignment.
• Partner with designers to protect creative intent through production and compliance.
