PCI Pharma Services in Illinois is seeking a hands-on Automation Engineer to shape the future of PCI’s software and control systems. You will maintain production data systems, design electrical schematics, and lead serialization design and integration across global packaging lines.

The role requires a 5–10 year track record, a related bachelor’s degree, and involves travel up to 10% with a performance bonus eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training.
• College-Level Mathematical Skills
• Advanced computer skills to perform complex tasks and operate programs.
• Professional proficiency to participate effectively in conversations.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in math or diagrams.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrates knowledge of information systems, PLC/HMI, OPC, networks, and packaging equipment including serialization.
• Procures and installs hardware/software to support integration of OEM and internal equipment.
• Sets up production data monitoring systems for new and existing packaging lines.
• Programs PLC and HMI platforms, building systems and data collection capabilities.
• Commissioning and verification of PLC, HMI and serialization systems.
