Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior leader to head the Cleared OTC Derivatives Engineering for the OTC Clearing platform. Based in Jersey City, you will define the strategy, drive modernization, and manage a global engineering organization across regions and disciplines.

You will partner with product, risk, operations, and control functions to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant technology that supports client and house clearing workflows and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience in financial services technology.
• Experience building and evolving OTC Clearing platforms for client/house clearing.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation in regulated environments.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships across business, risk and technology.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision and technology roadmap for OTC Clearing.
• Lead global change programs ensuring timely delivery and regulatory alignment.
• Champion modern engineering practices, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, and observability.
• Develop leadership across distributed teams and foster a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory controls and enterprise standards.
