Job summary
Lear For You seeks a Regional Support and Ignition engineer to develop, deploy, and support OT applications for manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Sr.
Manager, OT, you will maintain Ignition solutions, troubleshoot issues, and enable regional teams to use the platform effectively. This role blends hands-on development with deployment support, documentation, and training, coordinating with plant controls engineers, regional teams, and system integrators.
Qualifications
- Min 5 years in OT, industrial automation, or related field.
- Min 2 years in people, project, or program leadership.
- Experience coordinating manufacturing technology programs and governance processes.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, networking, and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional reviews and resolve competing needs.
Responsibilities
- Translate OT roadmap into coordinated program plans and measures of progress.
- Coordinate development, review, and adoption of OT standards with technical owners.
- Lead program readiness and governance reviews; coordinate design reviews with architects and owners.
- Manage, coach, and prioritize work for the program enablement engineer.
- Coordinate evaluations against manufacturing needs and deployment readiness.
- Define standards adoption and compliance review processes.
