Job summary
Lear Corporation seeks a Regional Support and Ignition engineer to develop, deploy, and support OT applications for manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Sr.
Manager, OT, this role blends hands-on development with deployment support, troubleshooting, documentation, and training across regions. Travel up to 50% globally; collaborate with plant controls, regional teams, and system integrators to ensure approved OT standards and readiness.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of OT/industrial automation experience.
- Minimum 2 years of people leadership or program leadership.
- Experience coordinating manufacturing technology programs and governance.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Translate OT roadmap into program plans, priorities, dependencies, and progress metrics.
- Coordinate development and adoption of OT standards and procedures with technical owners.
- Lead program readiness and governance reviews; coordinate with architects and owners.
- Manage and coach the program enablement engineer.
- Coordinate solution evaluations against manufacturing needs and deployment readiness.
- Align IT, OT, networking, and cybersecurity requirements without ownership changes.
