Job description

Global Operations Development Summer Analyst Program Global Operations delivers integrated operations solutions for all lines of business, business support areas and the broader enterprise, including operations teams in our global regions. This program manages the critical systems and multiple platforms needed to maintain the enterprise’s market-leading positions in key segments, including deposits, payment products, consumer lending, wealth management, small business and mid-market lending, treasury services, investment banking, and sales and trading. Internship Program Overview Our Global Operations Development Program is a 10-week internship designed to provide you with a unique experience based on your interests, development opportunities, and current business needs. The Global Operations Development Program focuses on operational line of business functions supporting our technology and operations businesses within Bank of America. Participants are involved in a variety of activities designed to foster teamwork, influence leadership and gain exposure to processes and/or projects that will drive results and demonstrate Bank of America’s vision and culture. The objective of the program is for participants to have meaningful robust experiences where they can learn about the Operations business through work that builds upon their skillsets to prepare them for final placements. Day-in-the-Life Interns will participate in a variety of experiences throughout the summer, including on-the-job training, online learning, Executive Speaker Series, networking events with fellow interns/employees, and hands-on project work. Educational Requirements & Eligibility Sponsorship: Bank of America is unable to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship now, or in the future, for this specific role. Minimum Education
  • Students must be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Bachelors or Bachelors direct to Master’s degree with no work experience.
  • Major/Course of Study: Operations, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar degree of relevance.
  • GPA: 3.5 minimum GPA preferred
  • Graduation date: November 2027 – August 2028

  • Strong Quality Assurance skills to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant processes.
  • Solid organizational planning and project management skills to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment and communicate effectively.
  • Strategic thinker in Account Management with the ability to scale tactics across various audiences.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to deal with ambiguity and high-pressure situations.
  • Strong Risk Management skills with the ability to assess business processes & risks.
  • Flexibility in exploring a variety of business areas.
  • Identify business issues and implement improvements.
  • Experience in the following is a plus: SQL, Tableau
