Job summary

Bank of America in Chester, UK is recruiting an Operations Summer Analyst for Global Operations. You will rotate to a team based on interests, gaining hands-on experience in client data management, settlement, trade lifecycle, and process improvement through formal training, on‑the‑job mentoring and networking opportunities.

You will develop analytical and problem-solving skills while building knowledge of risk controls, governance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of client, account and product reference data management processes.
• Support settlement, clearing and reconciliation activities across a range of products and services.
• Build knowledge of trade lifecycle processes, including trade validation, maintenance, exception management and reconciliation.
• Analyse data, identify trends and contribute to business insights, process reviews and operational excellence initiatives
• Develop an understanding of risk management, controls, governance and regulatory requirements
• Support project delivery, business analysis and stakeholder engagement activities
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and updates for business partners and senior stakeholders
