Job description

Ready to lead, disrupt and reinvent the sleep industry?

We are Emma – The Sleep Company. Founded in 2015, we’ve become the world’s largest D2C sleep brand, available in over 35 countries with more than 25 stores across Europe. Recommended by leading consumer associations in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, we develop the best sleep comfort products that empower our customers to awaken their best every day.

At Emma, we are a community of smart, driven people, united by a strong culture of collaboration, teamwork, and knowledge sharing. We think big, take ownership, and are empowered to drive meaningful impact. Through hands‑on experience, mentorship, and continuous learning, we drive our own growth and learning. With Emmies from over 60 nationalities and offices across multiple regions, our diverse perspectives enrich our workplace culture.

What you’ll do in our different roles:

As a Global Operations Intern, you’ll join the team ensuring that Emma’s products move seamlessly across markets, from forecasting and production to warehousing and delivery. This is a hands‑on, analytical, and collaborative role within a fast‑paced international environment. You will contribute to optimizing how we plan, produce, and deliver our products, ensuring that every step of our operations runs efficiently and creates value for our customers. Depending on your skills and interests, you could work in one of several teams:

  • Supply and Demand Planning
    • Build market‑aligned demand forecasts using data‑driven assumptions and regular input from local teams
    • Translate demand plans into production and replenishment strategies that maintain healthy stock levels across markets
    • Coordinate production schedules and delivery timelines with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure product availability
    • Monitor inventory performance, identify risks of stockouts or excess, and propose corrective actions
  • Production and Excellence
    • Support our Production Excellence team in performance tracking and strategic improvement across the Supply Chain, while ensuring smooth daily operations and on‑time product availability
    • Own KPI consolidation and dashboard upkeep, turning scattered data into clear insights and more actionable performance metrics
    • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Planning, Fulfilment, Finance, and external suppliers, translating operational pain points into structured improvement initiatives
    • Drive strategic sub‑projects by contributing to process standardization, improving inventory and performance visibility
  • Logistics and Fulfillment
    • Support daily Warehouse to “Last Mile” operations, coordinating supplier inbounds and carrier collections.
    • Monitor last mile deliveries, resolve delays fast, and drive actions that improve customer experience
    • Assist with inventory tracking and stock accuracy, identify root causes of variances, and help optimize warehouse processes
    • Collaborate across teams at Emma and with Warehousing and Last Mile partners, ensuring efficient processing and timely, transparent communication with partners
Who we’re looking for:
  • You are pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, and ideally have experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
  • You are equipped with good communication skills in English.
  • You are skilled in data analysis, enjoying working with numbers and finding ways to improve them.
  • You are process‑driven, with a passion for optimizing workflows and driving efficiency.
  • You are an excellent communicator, ready to collaborate with teams across the globe.
  • You are eager to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • You are available to start in the next two months.
What we offer:
  • A competitive Package of 1250€ monthly (including meal allowance and Coverflex benefits)
  • Employee discount on Emma products for yourself, friends and family (applicable in all EU markets)
  • Private health insurance including dental care
  • In‑house Portuguese classes from beginner to advanced level
  • A combination of personal and company growth to accelerate your career and help you reach your goals
  • The chance to work on exciting and challenging projects either independently or as part of a dedicated, international team
  • Responsibility and decision‑making authority from day one—you’ll create an impact with new, innovative ideas and help shape our company DNA
  • To work and learn from experts in diverse fields and get to know your team members at exciting company events
