Responsibilities:

Lead multi-site driving strategic operations, safety, quality, and cost efficiency. Essential duties include developing a multi-site strategy, leading budgeting and capital investments, championing Lean and continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory. Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity. The Global Operations Director reports directly to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities

The Global Operations Director’s responsibilities, among others, are:

• Leading and managing multiple Operations Managers across diverse sites, as well as overseeing operations at sites across multiple countries.
• Foster safety culture, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.
• Serving as a key escalation point for conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Overseeing performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting to ensure accountability.
• Partnering with leadership to align operations with long-term business goals.
• Driving continuous improvement and standardization of processes across sites.
• Ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Serving as a culture carrier, fostering collaboration, innovation, and open communication across teams.
• Oversee annual operating plans, capex, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Drive Lean and CI initiatives to boost capacity and customer satisfaction.
• Implement data-driven decision making across all operational areas
• Analyze operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities
• Build and lead high-performing operations teams across multiple functions
• Provide strategic direction and coaching to operations managers and specialists
• Drive change management initiatives with clear communication and training
• Participate in pre‑production and product planning in collaboration with R&D and Engineering;
• Participate in the pre-production testing of new equipment and processes;

Qualification Criteria

The Global Operations Director should possess:

• 8-12 years of progressive operations experience in leadership roles.
• Proven track record of process improvement and operational transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience managing teams of 10+ people across multiple sites.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools
