Job summary

Tower Semiconductor is seeking an Operational Excellence IE Manager to lead global Industrial Engineering activities, partnering with local IE leaders to boost manufacturing excellence and productivity. This role focuses on identifying bottlenecks, improving OEE, and delivering on-time delivery to customers.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Industrial/Systems Engineering, have semiconductor experience, and at least 3 years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering. Master’s preferred.
• Extensive IE experience in semiconductor environments.
• Min 3 years of management experience.
• Experience with manufacturing and operations management techniques.
• Knowledge of scheduling/dispatching, TOC, Lean, Push/Pull, inventory and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cross-functional teams to drive OEE improvements and CAPEX management.
• Establish standardized analytical models for planning, KPI tracking, and WIP management globally.
• Set and monitor global procedures for improved operational management and compliance.
• Lead corporate capacity management programs across fabs and sites.
• Drive manufacturing excellence through benchmarking and data-driven methods.

Job Description

The Operational Excellence IE Manager leads the company's global Industrial Engineering activities, collaborating with local IE leaders to drive manufacturing excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness through the implementation of best known methods and systems. This role is responsible for identifying bottlenecks in every Fab and driving OEE improvements to enhance productivity, cycle time, and on-time delivery to customers. Additionally, the manager focuses on establishing standardized analytical models across the organization specifically for planning, KPI tracking, and WIP management.

Job Requirements

• B.S Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering degree required but Master's degree preferred
• Industrial engineering expert, extensive experience in semiconductor environment
• Minimume 3 years management experience
• Wide experience in manufacturing and operations management techniques required.
• Experience in optimization, tool modeling and performance metrics preferred
• Ability to communicate with external and internal multi-cultural stakeholders
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Science (scheduling/dispatching, TOC, Lean, Push/Pull system, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)
• High analytical skills and data driven
• Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis and problem-solving methodologies
• Ability to attend to details while keeping big picture in mind
