Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. is seeking a Global Operational Excellence Manager in Industrial Engineering to lead worldwide IE activities, collaborate with regional leaders, and drive manufacturing excellence and efficiency.

You will identify bottlenecks, enhance OEE, and standardize analytical models for planning, KPI tracking, and WIP management, while directing cross-functional global projects and ensuring best practice adoption company-wide.

Qualifications

• B.S Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering degree required; Master's preferred.
• Extensive experience in semiconductor environment.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and operations management techniques.
• Experience in optimization, tool modeling and performance metrics preferred.
• Ability to communicate with multi-cultural stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Scheduling/Dispatching, TOC, Lean, Push/Pull systems, inventory, capacity planning.

• Lead global Industrial Engineering activities and collaborate with local IE leaders to drive manufacturing excellence.
• Identify bottlenecks in every Fab and drive OEE improvements to boost productivity and on-time delivery.

Job Description

The Operational Excellence IE Manager leads the company’s global Industrial Engineering activities, collaborating with local IE leaders to drive manufacturing excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness through the implementation of best known methods and systems. This role is responsible for identifying bottlenecks in every Fab and driving OEE improvements to enhance productivity, cycle time, and on-time delivery to customers. Additionally, the manager focuses on establishing standardized analytical models across the organization specifically for planning, KPI tracking, and WIP management.

Job Requirements

• B.S Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering degree required but Master's degree preferred
• Industrial engineering expert, extensive experience in semiconductor environment
• Minimume 3 years management experience
• Wide experience in manufacturing and operations management techniques required.
• Experience in optimization, tool modeling and performance metrics preferred
• Ability to communicate with external and internal multi-cultural stakeholders
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Science (scheduling/dispatching, TOC, Lean, Push/Pull system, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)
• High analytical skills and data driven
• Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis and problem-solving methodologies
• Ability to attend to details while keeping big picture in mind
