Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Pharmacovigilance professional to support safety surveillance across its pharmaceutical portfolio. You will interpret regulatory guidance, contribute to key PV documents and assist with risk management as part of a cross-functional team.

The role requires an MD or DO with 2+ years of residency and a Master of Public Health is preferred; strong English communication and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are essential.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with 2+ years of residency and patient management experience.
• Master of Public Health preferred in addition to MD/DO.
• Ability to analyze clinical data and epidemiological information.

Responsibilities

• Support safety surveillance for pharmaceutical/biological products.
• Contribute to medical safety assessments, regulatory responses and risk management plans.
• Apply regulatory guidance for safety surveillance and PV document input.
• Analyze aggregate safety data and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Under PST Lead, write, review and provide input on technical PV documents.
