Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics seeks a Global Competitive Intelligence Lead – Oncology to design and execute the oncology CI strategy across all programs globally. You will guide product positioning, scenario planning, and GTM strategies, shaping launches and lifecycle management.

The role requires leading CI across regions, collaborating with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial teams, and presenting actionable insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in competitive intelligence or related roles in life sciences.
• Experience leading CI strategies at a global scale, esp. Oncology.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycles and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to translate data into strategic recommendations and influence executives.
• Experience managing CI vendors with focus on quality and timeliness.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, and Clinical Development.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the global CI strategy for oncology across all pipeline programs.
• Monitor and analyze competitor pipelines, trial data, regulatory strategies, and market trends.
• Deliver competitor insights to inform product development, launches, and lifecycle management.
• Represent the Oncology CI function in global commercial planning forums.
• Ensure quality and relevance of CI research; communicate evidence levels to stakeholders.
• Drive intelligence gathering with regional teams and tailor insights to markets.
