Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD or equivalent with 15+ years pharma R&D and 10+ years in late-phase oncology.
• Clinical training in hematology/oncology with solid tumor focus.
• Deep scientific and clinical understanding of cancer biology, especially immune therapies.
• Experience leading multiple clinical trials involving immune-based therapies.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor physicians and scientists in a global matrix.
• Strong leadership for high-performance culture and inclusion.
• Experience with global NDA/MAA submissions and regulatory interfaces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; executive-level influencing skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-regional development plans.
• Diplomacy across multinational teams; proactive issue prediction.

Responsibilities

• Lead global development strategy for late/early phase solid tumor programs.
• Provide strategic input to therapy area strategy and governance.
• Direct development plans, protocols, and contingencies.
• Oversee regional teams US/EU/Japan-China and study physicians.
• Interface with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and partner teams.
• Drive risk management, timelines, and budget considerations.
