What will you do?

A day in the life of a Global Offline Brand Protection Manager at VF looks a little like this.

The Global Offline Brand Protection Manager will support the execution of VF’s Global Brand Enforcement Team by managing external vendors, and a global network of investigators, and by planning, coordinating, and overseeing raids, seizures, and other physical enforcement actions against manufacturers, distributors, and sellers of counterfeit goods.

The Global Offline Brand Protection Manager will work closely with law enforcement, customs authorities, and internal and external partners across jurisdictions, and serve as an integral member of the Team’s success by directing the execution of enforcement actions in multiple jurisdictions.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Support the implementation of VF’s global offline brand enforcement program by coordinating enforcement activities, monitoring program performance, and assisting with the execution of annual enforcement priorities and initiatives.

Lead large-scale investigative efforts involving test purchases, surveillance, intelligence gathering, and evidence development to support enforcement actions, civil proceedings, and criminal referrals across multiple jurisdictions.

Coordinate with investigators, enforcement vendors, and internal stakeholders to support consistent execution of enforcement activities and adherence to established operational standards and protocols across global markets.

Plan and oversee physical enforcement operations, including multi-jurisdictional raids, seizures, border actions, and coordinated investigations involving law enforcement, customs authorities, prosecutors, and external partners across multiple countries.

Provide investigative leadership and subject matter expertise for significant fraud matters, asset recovery efforts, and sensitive investigations with potential financial, legal, or reputational impact to VF.

Support cross-functional coordination among Legal, Product, Supply Chain, DT, Security, and regional teams to ensure timely execution of enforcement actions and resolution of complex brand protection matters.

Develop and deliver offline brand protection training to employees, law enforcement, customs officials, and other external stakeholders to educate on counterfeiting and its impact on the brands and brands’ customers.

Manage relationships with external investigators, enforcement vendors, and service providers to support operational effectiveness and successful execution of enforcement processes, and intellectual property protection.

Coordinate with customs agencies and border authorities to support seizures, detentions, investigations, and product authentication activities involving VF brands.

Serve as VF’s operational representative with industry coalitions, government agencies, law enforcement organizations, and investigative partners, advancing enforcement efforts and strengthening external partnerships critical to brand protection outcomes.
