Job summary

MARS Incorporated is seeking a Global Occupational Health Governance Director to lead medical strategy and governance for our global workforce. You will establish global standards, oversee risk prevention, and ensure regulatory compliance across regions, partnering with Health & Safety, P&O, Operations, and Benefits.

You will drive health intelligence, guide wellness initiatives, and shape an inclusive, high-performing environment, aligning with Mars’ enterprise priorities and workforce health

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Occupational Medicine.
• Experience designing and implementing global occupational health strategy.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
• Experience leading enterprise-level wellness, mental health, or occupational health initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define global occupational health strategy, standards, and multi-year roadmap.
• Identify and mitigate work-related health risks across geographies with safety and operations partners.
• Establish global clinical standards, protocols, and compliance frameworks.
• Provide medical leadership for fitness-for-work, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes.
• Define health metrics, analyze trends, and report to senior leadership.
• Define operating models and build capability of regional/local health teams.
