Job summary

Mars Incorporated seeks a Head of Occupational Health to provide global medical leadership, protecting health, wellbeing, and work capability for our worldwide workforce. You will establish global OH standards, design a multi-year strategy, and ensure robust clinical governance and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with Health & Safety, P&O, Operations, and Benefits, you will drive continuous improvement in workforce health protection, delivering a safe, inclusive, and highly resilient

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Occupational Health Physician with board certification in Occupational Medicine.
• Proven leadership experience in a large multinational.
• Strategic design and implementation of global occupational health strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define global occupational health strategy and standards.
• Identify and mitigate work-related health risks with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee clinical governance and ensure regulatory compliance globally.
• Provide medical leadership for fitness-for-work, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes.
• Define health metrics and analyze trends to drive improvements.
• Define and manage the global operating model for external occupational health services.
