Job summary

Amgen in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Global Scientific Communications & Engagement Strategy for Obesity Content Lead. You will develop and execute high-impact scientific communication and HCP engagement plans across global and US markets, aligning with product goals and cross-functional teams.

The role requires advanced degrees and 6–12 years of Medical/Scientific Affairs experience, overseeing content development, vendor management, and education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree requirements (MD/PhD/PharmD) with experience in Medical/Scientific Affairs or related field.
• Experience in strategic content planning, content creation, and vendor management in biopharma.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and oversee global US scientific communication and HCP engagement plans.
• Develop strategic content briefs aligned to scientific narratives and guide content creation.
• Contribute to scientific programming at educational events and congresses.
• Define and track KPIs to measure impact and efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and collaborate across regions and cross-functional teams.
