Job summary

3M seeks a Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of consumer product NPI projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, owners, and deliverables are tracked and communicated. This role also leads vendor engagement and governance with cross-functional teams across the globe.

The successful candidate will coordinate across project teams and vendors, drive consistent reporting, and support portfolio governance through documentation and process improvements that improve visibility

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
6 year(s) of project management in a private, public, government or military environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a clear view of portfolio projects, including timelines, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, issues and key deliverables.
Coordinate across project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to track progress and ensure on-time delivery of milestones.
Lead and improve vendor engagement processes including intake, communication, follow-up, documentation, status tracking and escalations.
Support portfolio-level governance through status updates, dashboards and meeting materials.
Drive consistency and continuous improvement in project tracking, reporting and documentation.
