Job summary

Teradyne in California is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead NPI programs from concept through pilot builds and into high-volume production. You will partner with Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to drive schedules, budgets, and risk controls.

This on-site role requires 8+ years directing complex technical programs, strong business acumen, and PMP or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering required; MS/MBA preferred; PMP certification desired.
8+ years of project management experience directing complex technical programs.
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and DFx is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI projects from concept through prototyping, pilot builds, and into high-volume production.
Develop detailed project plans (scope, WBS, schedule, cost, risks), track progress, manage trade-offs.
Identify opportunities and risks, work with SMEs to develop actionable mitigation plans and escalate as needed.
Proactively partner with DFx teams across compliance, quality, manufacturing, test, and cost during development.
Oversee prototype and pilot builds; manage transfer to Contract Manufacturing partners.
Deliver clear, concise project updates to stakeholders at all levels; influence without formal authority.
Lead readiness assessments, review deliverables, and document lessons learned.
