Job summary

BridgePoint Associates, LLC. seeks a hands-on Director of Finance and Operations to own day-to-day accounting and operations for a $6 million international nonprofit. The role anchors monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while coordinating with an external firm for audits and Form 990.

You will manage payroll, vendor relations, IT/business systems, and cash flow, with collaboration across programs and HR. Hybrid work, starting with one day/week in NH.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of nonprofit accounting and financial management experience.
• Bachelor's degree and relevant certification preferred.
• Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and Salesforce; ability to learn other systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with an international grantmaking nonprofit is a plus.
• Ability to work in the Concord, NH office one day per week to start.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting and operations for the organization.
• Lead monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, bookkeeping, reporting, A/R, and A/P processes.
• Oversee the full organizational budget with program director collaboration.
• Manage cash flow.
• Coordinate with external accounting firm for annual audit and Form 990.
• Manage vendors and oversee IT/business systems.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll, payroll funding, controls, ledger recording, and reconciliation.
• Partner with outside counsel on legal matters.
