Job summary

BridgePoint Associates, LLC. seeks a hands-on Director of Finance and Operations for an internationally focused nonprofit. You will own day-to-day accounting and business operations for a $6 million organization, leading monthly closes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, internal controls, cash flow management, and collaboration with program directors and external accountants. Hybrid work with some in-office presence in NH is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires approximately 7+ years of nonprofit accounting and financial management experience.
• Bachelor's degree and relevant certification preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Salesforce preferred; ability to learn other systems.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting and business operations for the organization.
• Lead monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, bookkeeping, reporting, A/R, and A/P processes.
• Provide full organizational budget oversight with collaboration from program directors.
• Manage cash flow.
• Coordinate with external accounting firm for annual audit and Form 990 preparation.
• Oversee vendor management and IT/business systems.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll funding, controls, ledger recording, and reconciliation.
• Partner with outside counsel on organizational legal matters.

Hybrid - commutable to NH office one day per week (to start; ultimately remote)

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience

The Director of Finance and Operations will serve as a hands-on leader who will own the day-to-day accounting and business operations for the $6 million organization.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the accounting and operations functions for the organization


• Lead the monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, bookkeeping, reporting, A/R, and A/P processes


• Full organizational budget oversight requiring collaboration with program directors


• Cash flow management


• Collaborate with an external accounting firm for the annual audit and preparation of the Form 990
