Job summary

The International Crane Foundation (ICF) seeks a mission-driven Chief Financial Officer to lead global financial management, planning, compliance, and stewardship across international programs. Based in Baraboo, WI with a hybrid work option, this role partners with the Senior Leadership Team and Board to drive budgeting, reporting, treasury, and risk management for conservation impact.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business, a CPA, and at least five years in senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA designation required.
• At least five years of experience as CFO or senior financial leader.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting, international accounting, GAAP, board reporting, budget management, and staff leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, audit coordination, risk management, policy development, and financial systems.
• Lead and mentor an international finance team supporting US, Africa, and Asia operations.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and Board to align financial practices with goals.
• Translate financial information into actionable insights for leadership and governance.
