Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Lead to manage Product Safety Teams, ensuring comprehensive safety surveillance across product lifecycles. You will interpret regulatory guidance and oversee critical safety documents, collaborating with cross-functional teams and regulatory authorities.

The role requires an MD/DO with 2+ years in Pharmacovigilance/Clinical Development, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with 2+ years of residency with patient management experience.
• 2-5 years of Pharmacovigilance / Clinical Development experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluency, both written and oral, in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead PST safety surveillance and pharmacovigilance activities.
• Oversee safety surveillance for products in clinical development and marketed products.
• Lead and oversee key pharmacovigilance documents (DSURs, PBRERs/PSURs, PADERs).
• Interpret aggregate safety data and communicate with cross-functional teams and regulators.
• Mentor and coach team members and cross-functional colleagues.
