Job summary

AbbVie in Florham Park, NJ is seeking an experienced medical leader to oversee Product Safety Teams and serve as PST Lead across one or more products. You will guide pharmacovigilance activities through the product lifecycle, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive risk management strategies.

Applicants should hold MD/DO with 8–10 years in pharmacovigilance or clinical development, plus strong cross-functional leadership and fluent English.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with 2+ years of residency and patient management experience.
• Master of Public Health is preferred in addition to MD/DO.
• 8–10 years of pharmacovigilance/clinical development in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and strategic thinking.
• Excellent written and oral English.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety surveillance and PV activities for products in development and on market.
• Manage safety documents like regulatory responses and risk management plans.
• Provide input on PV documents and study data analyses.
• Coordinate and mentor PSTs and cross-functional teams.
• Oversight of safety signals and periodic reports (PSURS, PADERs).
