Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a senior security engineer to own the global network security architecture for hybrid environments. You will define policies, lead cross-team efforts, and drive security integration across on-prem and cloud platforms.

The role requires deep expertise in Zero Trust, segmentation, firewall tech, and IaC automation. You will mentor engineers and shape secure design practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise networking and network security with leadership.
• Deep expertise in Zero Trust, segmentation, and global hybrid-cloud infra.
• Automation experience with security IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• AI/ML tooling knowledge for operational simplification and auto-healing.
• AI/LLM architecture knowledge including data flow, APIs, governance.
• Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC, and micro-segmentation mastery.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural blueprint and governance for global network security footprint across hybrid environments.
• Define and enforce enterprise security policies including segmentation and access control.
• Drive integration of security into all layers of network design with cross-team collaboration.
• Identify vulnerabilities and lead remediation across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Leverage Palo Alto Networks products to enhance visibility, protection, and threat intel.
• Champion security automation using scripting, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Serve as escalation authority during critical security events with long-term remediations.
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to architectural standards and security-first culture.
