Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead the multi‑cloud security strategy and define the architectural North Star for our cloud‑native platforms. In this high‑impact role, you will drive complex threat modeling and partner with engineering leadership to embed security deeply into next‑generation products.

You will guide security patterns across GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI, mentor engineers, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security engineering and/or security architecture experience.
• Hands-on architectural expertise across at least one major public cloud provider with strong knowledge of others.
• Deep knowledge of Secure-by-Design, Privacy-by-Design, and Zero Trust principles and practices.
• Proven track record in executing complex threat models for microservices and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency with Python or Go and securing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain authoritative security architecture patterns for multi‑cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI, SAP).
• Lead secure, scalable, and resilient system design championing Security by Design principles.
• Drive Zero Trust strategies across development environments and production SaaS platforms.
• Own threat modeling methodology and run deep‑dive sessions for critical features.
• Translate architectural risks into action items for leadership risk registers.
