Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Network Operations Lead to drive the implementation and evolution of the global network infrastructure for the customer in the Department of State environment. You will lead network operations engineers, guide architecture deliverables, and oversee complex engineering tasks across LAN/WAN/CAN/VLAN and Unified Communications systems.

Requirements include 8+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in IT or related field, CCNP, and a Secret Security Clearance; CCIE is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in network operations or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
  • CCNP Certification.
  • Secret Security Clearance.
  • CCIE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development across the global network (LAN, WAN, CAN, VLAN).
  • Lead a group of network operations engineers and analysts and ensure adherence to quality standards; review enterprise architecture deliverables.
  • Make recommendations to management on desirable network solutions and opportunities.
  • Research, evaluate and document new products and tools.
  • Serve as a troubleshooter on complex network problems on all Tier 2 and incident tickets.
  • Perform complex engineering, security design, implementation and maintenance tasks on Unified Communications Systems.
  • Research, evaluate and approve hardware and software solutions for complex problems and solutions.
  • Execute complex implementation plans for network/system upgrades.

Education

Bachelor's in IT or related field
CCNP Certification
Secret Security Clearance
CCIE Certification
