Job summary

The Hertz Corporation is seeking a Senior Network Field Engineer to lead the delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions across global field locations. You will blend hands-on operations, troubleshooting, and project leadership to modernize and enhance our enterprise network landscape.

You will design LAN/WAN, manage on-prem and cloud environments (Azure/AWS), implement security controls, and mentor teams while aligning with ITIL/Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years designing and supporting enterprise networks in large environments.
• Experience with on-prem and cloud networks (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with Fortinet security solutions and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational support for global Hertz field network and Tier III troubleshooting.
• Design LAN/WAN/SD-WAN solutions and manage site-specific configurations.
• Provide technical leadership and partner with cross-functional teams.
• Drive security, monitoring, and performance improvements across networks.
• Track project status, mentor staff, and contribute to roadmaps.
