Siemens Energy is seeking an NDE Field Service Technician to support field service jobs at power plants across the Americas, including the United States. Qualifications
- NDE certification in four of these methods (UT, ET, PT, MT, VT & RT).
- Experience with Ultrasonic Phased Array and Eddy Current preferred.
- NDE associate degree required, must live or relocate within an hour drive of the Pittsburgh Service Center.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and support field service jobs at power plants located at domestic and international job sites.
- Perform field inspections per Siemens requirements.
- Travel up to 75% annually to power plant sites.
- Support outage planning and production control by ensuring delivery of tools, personnel and field inspection activities.
- Prepare shipments of test equipment for domestic and international shipping; support development of new/continuous improvement of tooling and applications.
